One of the most remarkable features of the villa is the established garden. Thoughtfully designed, there are pathways and seating areas in the sun and shade throughout the day. The gardens between the villa and the swimming pool lawns are on two levels that are transcended by a waterfall over the local stone wall. There is a "vine walk" around the lower garden, with a dozen grape vines for those people that want to make their own wine.

In the Persian Garden there are an additional three small fountains and 23 edible-fruit trees including lemon, orange, banana and mangos. The herbs and roses flower at different times throughout the year so there is a continual bloom. The front of the villa has bougainvillea and plumbago hedges that flower in the summer, olive trees (150+ years old) and a variety of native and exotic shrubs.
